Steve Patzman

Steve’s early turnings were Christmas ornaments and small bowls he gave to friends.  As his skills increased, his Christmas ornaments turned into delicate hollowed pieces of beauty.  He enjoys recycling local New England woods (”road kill”) that are destined to the dump or chipper, in particular cherry, walnut and maple.

Steve is past president of the Cape Cod Woodturners Club. He is a former member of the Society of Cape Cod Craftsmen. He is the organizer and leader of the Chatham-Harwich Newcomers Woodworkers group. This group has done wood working projects in the community for the Marconi Museum, libraries, churches and others.
