A fully three-dimensional nickel silver teacup, complete with saucer, dangles below a brushed brass songbird with enamel painted accents basking in the fragrant steam of the resin tea.
Sterling silver ear wires are looped into the silver steam making these birds appear to float.

Most Chickenscratch jewelry is made from base metals (brass, copper, nickel silver and sterling silver) sheet and wire that is hand cut and manipulated, mixed with various plastics and found objects. Each piece has been joined with silver solder for strength and durability.
