Larry Anderson

Norwegian Woods was founded by Larry Anderson, whose background is Scandanavian. His interest in wood began with repairing and refinishing furniture. Norwegian Woods was born in 1995 when Larry was asked by Norwegian and Swedish style decorative artisans, known as rosmalers and dala painters, to make wood pieces for them. Larry makes every piece by hand and invests agreat deal of personal pride in his creations. Larry uses only hardwoods, poplar and basswood, which are preferred by furniture makers and painters for their tight grain.
